Jim Lipschultz and Mike Scherago began working together in 1997. At the time, Mr. Lipschultz was Managing Partner of what is now Gibbs, Giden, Locher and Turner LLP, and Mr. Scherago joined the firm as a fourth-year associate. Over the next ten years, Mr. Lipschultz and Mr. Scherago formed a close working relationship, developed and honed their respective practices, and forged long-standing alliances with their clients in the construction industry and business community.
In 2007, Mr. Lipschultz and Mr. Scherago ventured out on their own and formed Lipschultz & Scherago LLP, a law firm dedicated to the simple principle of putting the clients' interests first. Lipschultz & Scherago LLP continually demonstrates its adherence to this principle in its litigation style, from aggressively pursuing and defending claims in trial court, on appeal, and in all alternative dispute resolution forums, to negotiating favorable settlements and providing expert advice and counseling to clients, all while keeping the clients' economic interests in mind.
