Mr. Lipschultz' practice focuses on litigating, arbitrating and resolving construction claims and disputes, as well as counseling clients with respect to all aspects of the construction practice, from contract formation to project completion. His clients include public and private owners, general contractors and construction managers, specialty contractors and material suppliers, many of whom he has been representing for over 20 years.

Mr. Lipschultz obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from U.C.L.A. in 1979 and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 1982. While in law school, Mr. Lipschultz was a Note and Comment Editor for the Hastings Law Journal, and published The Class Action Suit Under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act: Current Status, Controversies and Suggested Resolutions, 32 Hastings Law Journal 1377, 1982. Mr. Lipschultz was also a judicial extern for the Hon. Thelton Henderson of the United States District Court, Northern District.

After graduating from law school in 1982, Mr. Lipschultz joined Wickwire, Gavin & Gibbs, the predecessor law firm to Gibbs, Giden, Locher & Turner LLP. Mr. Lipschultz practiced at Gibbs, Giden for 25 years and was the firm's managing partner from 1997 to 2003. In 2007, he left GGLT to form Lipschultz & Scherago LLP with Mike Scherago. Mr. Lipschultz has presented numerous seminars to clients and public audiences over the years on a wide variety of subjects affecting the construction industry. Mr. Lipschultz is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of California and is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
